OCEAN FLAGSHIPS is proud to announce its role as Official Community Partner of TECHBBQ 2025, the largest and most influential technology summit in the Nordics. Together, we will ensure that ocean technology and the blue transition are part of the global innovation agenda.
TECHBBQ has become the ultimate hub for the international tech community. Every year, it gathers thousands of entrepreneurs, investors, researchers, and industry leaders to share knowledge, explore new technologies, and build partnerships that shape the future. In 2025, the conference returns to Copenhagen’s Bella Center on August 27–28 with the theme Build to Matter. This theme emphasizes creating meaningful connections, fostering innovation with purpose, and developing solutions that make a lasting positive impact.
As Community Partner, Ocean Flagships will bring the ocean dimension to TECHBBQ. Our mission is to highlight the crucial role that the ocean plays in tackling global challenges – from climate change and biodiversity loss to food security and sustainable energy. By showcasing Ocean Tech innovations, maritime startups, and blue transition initiatives, we aim to connect the tech world with the opportunities and responsibilities of the ocean frontier.
One of the special highlights this year will be our Ocean Tech Expedition to TECHBBQ. Participants will have the unique opportunity to arrive at the summit by sea – powered by wind and sails – while engaging with startups and innovators onboard. Along the journey, we will explore sustainable blue solutions, new technologies, and entrepreneurial ideas that can accelerate the transition towards a healthier ocean and a more resilient future.
